The CPL annual awards night
Friday, 30 December 2011
For the past few years CPL have awarded their employees for all their hard work in the form of a Christmas party. Whilst it’s true that most organisations nowadays throw a Christmas party for the staff, ours is a little different with stilt walkers and fire eaters to name but a few things.
The 2011 Christmas party was held in Thornton Hall, a beautiful four star hotel and spa in the country. The room was striking, the outfits stunning and the alcohol flowing. After a welcoming speech by Daniel Davies, the CEO, and a three course dinner came the awards.
This year was special in that there were multiple winners in several categories – obviously we have an abundance of talented people working for us!
So, who were our lucky winners?
Newcomer of the Year: Martin Bailey
Martin has made an incredible impact since joining CPL Online in 2011. In the short time he has been with us Martin has helped develop e-learning courses through his inspiring animations.
Rising Star’s Award: Tom Hannigan and Daniel Clark
This award highlights those who are going places. From several departments these winners have proven their ability and demonstrated their passion for the areas they work in.
Innovation Award - CPL Online Team
Winners for the second year running the Online team have continued to break the mould when it comes to online training. Having secured a contract with Stonegate Pubs, and several other large corporate organisations, the team continues to push itself to ensure our e-learning courses are the best around.
Directors Award - Sara Yates
The only award not to be decided on votes, the Director’s Award goes to an individual who has exceeded expectations, works incredibly hard and will always go that extra mile. Sara has impressed not just directors, but colleagues and clients with her enthusiasm and can do attitude.
